ha! haven´t this scene been replayed in every girls life atleast 10 times or more. Go sit on a tram in gothenburg for a while and see what happens.
Yes, and the guys always get hurt or pissed off, not for one second contemplating the girls side of it; we get this a lot, throughout many, many years, over and over and over - you get sick of it, damnit!
And IF you actually tell them “no” nicely, they either take it as encouragement and won’t leave you alone, OR they STILL get hurt/pissed because you’ve rejected them. Which is your goddamn right to do, if you please. There’s no winning this game, might as well be cold and mean about it to get it over with quickly, like pulling off a band-aid.
And the whole “oh, I just want to be friendly” doesn’t quite fly after seeing that in 99% of situations, you are NOT just trying to be friendly. You are aiming at the inside of our pants, guys, just be honest instead.
Men! Ha!
And reactions like this is why guys like me never EVER speak to women in public places. Imagine trying to connect with someone new that you might never see again, how offensive, the nerve! I certainly know where you are coming from, but perhaps everyone isn’t a douchebag.
